Job Description
As a Senior Network Security Engineer within the DTS Cybersecurity Engineering division, you will play a critical role in our delivery operations. You will be responsible for the complete post-sales project lifecycle i.e., from solution design through implementation, deployment, and integration. This role requires deep hands-on expertise with Fortinet and related technologies, and the ability to engage effectively with enterprise and government clients.
What You'll Do
Fortinet Solution Deployment: Design, implement, and manage Fortinet solutions including FortiGate NGFW, SD-WAN, FortiADC, FortiWeb WAF, FortiNAC, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
Migration Projects: Lead migrations from Cisco ASA/FTD and Palo Alto Networks platforms to FortiGate, including policy translation, VPN migration, and cutover planning.
Security Technologies: Apply hands-on experience with IPSec, SSL VPN, Sandboxing, Forward and Reverse Proxy, NAT, syslog, DNS, NAC, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
Network Architecture: Apply knowledge of data center topology, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, MPLS, load balancers, and SDN in solution design.
Solution Design: Prepare High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and migration documents for projects.
Client Engagement: Independently engage with clients to gather requirements and lead technical presentations.
Compliance & Auditing: based on project requirement, conduct security assessments and audit configurations of on-premises and cloud firewalls, WAF, ADC and endpoint security.
Technical Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for all deployed network and security devices.
Collaboration: Work effectively with internal teams, sharing knowledge and expertise across projects.
Availability: Occasional requirement to work beyond standard business hours during project cutovers and critical support windows.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent practical experience)
3/5 years of professional experience in a Systems Integrator (SI) environment
Fortinet NSE5 minimum; NSE7 or FCSS strongly preferred (NSE1–3 sales certifications excluded)
Proven Cisco ASA/FTD or Palo Alto to FortiGate migration experience
Strong knowledge of NGFW, SD-WAN, ADC, WAF, and related technologies
Proficiency in IPSec, SSL VPN, Sandboxing, Proxy, NAT, syslog, DNS, NAC, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
Solid understanding of data center architecture, routing, switching, MPLS, load balancers, and SDN
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
PCNSE, CCNP Security, or CISSP is a plus
Background that stands out: Telecom, Banking, Oil & Gas, or large enterprise operations.
